How no-fault transportation works in NY
Does NY no-fault insurance cover medical transportation?
Yes. New York's no-fault law (PIP — Personal Injury Protection) requires auto insurers to cover medical expenses resulting from motor vehicle accidents, regardless of fault. This includes medical transportation to treatment appointments.
Transportation benefits under no-fault cover the full scope of accident-related medical care: physical therapy, chiropractic, orthopedic evaluations, pain management, neurological consultations, diagnostic imaging (MRI, X-ray, EMG), and independent medical examinations (IME).

What appointments does no-fault transport cover?
Physical therapy
The most common recurring appointment for accident injury patients — 2–3 times per week for weeks or months. Standing-order scheduling available.
Chiropractic care
Frequent chiropractic visits for cervical and lumbar injuries are covered under no-fault. We provide recurring scheduling for the full treatment course.
Orthopedic & neurology
Orthopedic and neurological evaluations, follow-up, and pre-surgical consultations for accident injuries — fractures, disc injuries, nerve damage.
Pain management
Interventional pain procedures — epidural injections, nerve blocks, trigger point injections — covered under no-fault. Patients often need a ride home after sedation.
Independent Medical Examinations (IME)
IME appointments require strict on-time arrival — missing one can have serious legal consequences. We treat IME transport with the same punctuality guarantee as hospital transport.
Diagnostic imaging
MRI, CT, X-ray, EMG, and NCV studies for accident-related injuries. Typically one-time appointments, but can be recurring for TBI monitoring.
