Who we are

DachiPlus LLC ("DachiPlus," "we," "us," or "our") runs dachiplus.com and provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York. You can reach us at [email protected] or (516) 754-7777.

The short version

  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people. It sets cookies in your browser.
  • We do not use advertising pixels or ad-retargeting tags (for example, there is no Facebook or Meta pixel on this site), and we do not sell your information.
  • When you fill in a form, your details go to our team so we can call you back, arrange your ride or review your job application.
  • A small number of service providers handle information for us, such as our website host, our email and text-message services and our payment processor. Each one is listed below with what it receives and why.

Information you give us

  • Ride requests (/book/ and /es/reservar/): your name and phone number, your email if you choose to give it, pickup and destination addresses, trip date and times, one-way or round trip, mobility needs, extra passengers, how you plan to pay, and any notes you add.
  • Unfinished ride requests: the booking form has two steps. If you fill in step 1 (name, phone, pickup and destination), press Continue, and then leave the page or switch to another tab or app before sending the request, those step 1 details are sent to us so we can call you back. Nothing from step 2 is sent until you press the final submit button.
  • Facility partner inquiries: facility name, your name and role, phone, email, expected monthly trips, and notes.
  • The "Want a price for your ride?" box: the phone number or email address you type in, and any trip details you add.
  • Driver job applications (/drivers/ and /es/conductores/): name, date of birth, phone, email, city, license class and TLC license details, answers about your driving record and job eligibility, experience, availability, how you heard about us, notes, and photos of the front and back of your driver's license.
  • Dispatcher job applications (/dispatcher/): name, date of birth, phone, email, city, answers about your home workspace, equipment and skills, a short written answer, experience, availability, how you heard about us, and notes.
  • Calls, texts and emails you send us, and our records of them.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics. Every page except our ride payment page loads Google Analytics 4. It records the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search engine, another website or an AI assistant), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region), which Google works out from your IP address. Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. It also records actions such as tapping our phone number or email link, starting or sending a form, which form field had an error (not what you typed in it), getting a price from our cost estimator, and the words you type into our site search. We do not send your name, phone number, email address or trip addresses to Google Analytics.

Where your visit started. When you send us a ride request (including the step 1 details of an unfinished one), a price request or a facility inquiry, the website includes the page you arrived on at the start of that visit, the website that sent you (its address only, without any search words), and any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as which ad or listing it came from. We keep this with your request to learn which pages help people book. It is not sent to Google Analytics or to anyone else.

Website hosting. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver our pages and protect the site from attacks.

How we use your information

  • To schedule, coordinate and confirm your ride, and to call you back about a request
  • To send you ride estimates, payment links, pickup reminders and ride updates by email or text
  • After a paid ride, to send one text asking for a Google review (we ask each phone number only once)
  • If you used the "Want a price for your ride?" box, to reply with a price for that trip. We contact you only about that request and do not add you to any mailing list.
  • To answer questions from patients, families and facilities
  • To review driver and dispatcher job applications
  • To see which pages and features help visitors, so we can improve the site (Google Analytics)
  • To learn which pages help people book, from the page you arrived on, the referring site and the campaign tags saved with your request
  • To keep spam and bots out of our forms
  • To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Service providers that receive your information

These companies handle information for us so we can run the website and our service. Each has its own privacy policy.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the code that receives our forms. Form submissions and trip records are stored in our private database on Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), which only our staff can reach through a sign-in protected portal. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our forms to tell people from bots: it reads technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. Cloudflare says it uses these signals only to detect and block bots, not to identify or target you. Cloudflare privacy policy.

Google

  • Google Analytics: visit and usage information, as described above.
  • Google Maps: on the booking pages and the cost estimator, the address text you type is sent to Google to suggest matching addresses and to work out the driving distance and time. When you send a ride request, our system may also send the pickup and destination addresses to Google to calculate the distance or fill in a missing ZIP code.
  • Gmail: our team's inbox is a Google account. A copy of each form you send is delivered there.
  • Google Drive: driver applications (a summary of your answers and your license photos) are saved in a private folder in our Google Drive.

Google privacy policy.

Resend

Resend sends our emails. That includes the copy of each form that goes to our team, a copy of your ride request or job application sent to you if you gave us your email (driver applications include your license photos), and ride estimates, invoices and ride updates. Resend privacy policy.

Quo (formerly OpenPhone)

Quo runs our business phone line, (516) 754-7777. Calls and texts with us go through Quo. We use it to text ride estimates, payment links, pickup reminders, cancellation notices and the one-time review request, and your replies come back to us through Quo. If you would rather not get texts from us, reply to tell us or call us. Quo privacy policy.

Clover

Clover processes card payments for private-pay rides. We send you a link to a payment page on our site for your ride. That page shows the invoice number, your first name, the ride date and time, the towns you travel between and the amount due. The card form on it is Clover's: the card number, expiration date, security code and billing ZIP code you type there go directly to Clover, so we never see or store your full card number. To take the payment, Clover receives the amount, the invoice number, your email address if we have it (Clover emails you a receipt) and your device's IP address, which Clover requires to help prevent fraud. Clover tells us whether the payment went through, the card brand and its last 4 digits, which we keep with the trip. If we refund or cancel a payment, Clover returns the money to the same card and we keep a record of the refund. Clover's card form may use Google reCAPTCHA to stop fraud. Our payment page does not load Google Analytics. Clover privacy policy.

RoutingBox

RoutingBox is the dispatch and routing software our drivers are scheduled in. Once a trip is confirmed, we load the trip details into it: name, phone, date of birth if we have it on file, pickup and destination addresses, date and times, type of ride and trip notes.

Medical Answering Services (MAS), for Medicaid trips

Medicaid rides in Nassau and Suffolk are scheduled and approved by Medical Answering Services (MAS), the transportation broker that the New York State Department of Health contracts with. We do not book Medicaid rides through this website, and our website forms do not send anything to MAS. If MAS assigns your Medicaid trip to us, we receive the trip details from MAS and use them to provide that ride and to be paid for it through Medicaid.

When the law requires it

We may disclose information if the law, a subpoena or a court order requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our riders, staff or the public.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies (set by Google Analytics on every page except the ride payment page):

  • _ga: tells one visitor apart from another. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • _ga_ followed by an ID: keeps track of your current visit. Lasts up to 2 years.

We do not set advertising cookies. Our forms also load Cloudflare Turnstile, the booking pages and cost estimator load Google Maps, and the ride payment page loads Clover's card form; those services work under their own privacy policies listed above.

Browser storage (saved only in your browser and not sent to us):

  • theme: whether you chose the light or dark look.
  • a11y-font-size, a11y-contrast, a11y-line-height, a11y-reduce-motion: your accessibility settings.
  • dp_exit_seen: the date the "Want a price for your ride?" box last appeared, so it stays hidden for 30 days.
  • ai_ref_sent (cleared when you close the tab): notes that a visit from an AI assistant was already counted in Google Analytics, so it is counted once.

One more, dp_src (cleared when you close the tab), holds the page you arrived on, the referring site and the campaign tags described under "Where your visit started." It reaches us only as part of a form you choose to send.

You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings at any time. To stop Google Analytics on every website you visit, you can install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works without any of these.

How long we keep information

We keep trip and contact records for up to 7 years for business, tax and insurance purposes. We keep driver and dispatcher application information for 2 years. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights below).

Children's privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information (unless the law requires us to keep it)
  • Stop sending you updates or texts

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request," or call us. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Our website and forms use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and our staff dispatch portal requires a secure sign-in. We take reasonable care with your information, but no method of sending or storing data over the internet is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the way we handle information changes, and we will change the date at the top. Continued use of our website after an update means you accept the updated policy.
